PIP-School Competition is open only to students from primary and secondary schools to showcase their innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics learning. All innovations, inventions or designs must contain digital elements (e.g. use of digital tools).
OBJECTIVES
Exhibit innovative ideas and inventions from school students
Cultivate interests and encourage and students to develop learning materials in line with recent technology developments.
AWARDS
Certificate of participation and medal.
CONDITIONS
PIP-School Competition is open to students from primary and secondary schools only (both local and international)
Participation can be done as individuals or in groups (no limit in the number of members). Main team members including project leader should be student but the team can be assisted by a maximum of 2 teachers.
Product or innovation must relate to learning technologies or make use of these technologies in presentation (e.g., video, courseware, website, learning spaces and environment, system and etc.)
Participants are allowed to submit more than one entry. However, there will be a fee charged for each entry.
Each entry must submit a completed entry form with an short summary via the Registration link.
The summary should be approximately 100 to 250 words, giving the introduction of the innovation, problem(s) aimed to be solved, and proposed solutions.
The organizer reserves the right to reject any application for participation that have been sent if there is falsification of information.
POSTER PRESENTATION DETAILS
School participants can present using any suitable types of display or printed materials to show the innovation (Not restricted to poster). If you would like to print a poster, do follow the guideline below:
POSTER DETAILS
Participant must provide a poster of own product and perform presentation to the juries during carnival
Poster size: A1 (594 x 841 mm / 23.4 x 33.1 inch) (width x height)
Content of Poster: description, objectives, creativity and originality, value added, usefulness and practicality
You may provide additional materials such as brochures, photographs, certificates of appreciation, or other materials to support product innovation and revenue respectively.
You may change the poster template if you wish (just keep the IUCEL and organisers logos).
